Operation Restore Hope Partners with Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital to Support Veterans

Operation Restore Hope has been honored to share our mission with the dedicated staff of the Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital in both Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg. Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital provides highly specialized care to help patients rebuild their lives following injury or illness. Their compassionate staff works every day to ensure patients have the support and resources they need to safely transition back home.

Two weeks ago, ORH was proud to present a rollator to an Army Veteran preparing for discharge from their rehabilitation care. During another visit, one of the hospital therapists approached ORH about a Veteran currently receiving treatment. This Army Veteran recently underwent a leg amputation and will require handrails installed at his home to safely enter and exit the residence. Without hesitation, Operation Restore Hope began coordinating the project.

This collaboration highlights the importance of community partnerships and the impact they can have on the lives of our Veterans. By working together, healthcare providers and organizations like ORH can help ensure Veterans remain safe, independent, and supported at home.

Operation Restore Hope is grateful for the trust placed in our organization and proud to continue serving those who have served our nation.
